Bangalore Royal Challengers won the match against Rajasthan Royals by 75 runs. Royal Challengers won the toss and elected to bat first and they put a total of 133 in 20 overs, which was decent target for Rajasthan Royals. Thanks to the effort made by Rahul Dravid who scored 66 runs from 48 balls which includes 8 fours and 1 six and he was joined by skipper Kevin Pieterson who scored 32 runs to set a target of 133 runs.

Rajasthan Royals scored only 58 runs which was a second lowest total in IPL. Kumble played well to help Bangalore team to win this game, he took five wickets by giving just five runs. Bangalore team was charged up as they have not done well in the last season, they have over come all their bad performance in the last season with this match.
