FC Barcelona were crowned European champions for a third time – and the second in four seasons. Manchester United’s dream to become the first club to defend the Champions League ended in failure against Barcelona in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. United were struggling to get a clear sight of Barcelona’s early goal which came at 10th minute from Eto’o. Man U made a several changes in the second half but nothing worked for United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Barcelona side got inspired by the genius of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi who scored second goal for them at 70th min.
