Drogba and Bosingwa are Charged by UEFA | Champions League

Chelsea players Drogba and Bosingwa have been charged by UEFA for breaching of sportsmanship and insulting the referee during the match against Barcelona on friday in Champions League. Chelsea had lost the game against Barcelona and bow out of Champions League. It was a equalizer in the 2nd leg match between Barcelona and Chelsea in the semi-final but Barcelona has declared as a winner for scoring the goal in the Chelsea.

Drogba , Bosingwa and Chelsea FC have until May 29 to file their statements regarding the incidents with UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body to deal with the case on June 17. Chelsea FC are responsible for the improper conduct of players and the throwing of missiles by their supporters.

According to the source “UEFA has today announced that it has instigated disciplinary proceedings against Chelsea FC and two Chelsea FC players, Didier Drogba and Joseph Bosingwa, following the UEFA Champions League second leg semi-final match at Stamford Bridge,”
