Flintoff ruled out of Cricket Twenty20 World Cup | England

Andrew Flintoff has been ruled out of England’s ICC World Twenty20 squad, he has not fully recovered from knee surgery. Yorkshire’s legspinner Adil Rashid has been called-up as a replacement for Flintoff. The 31-year-old Flintoff had the surgery while playing for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2 after he pulled out of the Indian Premier League.
ICC Twenty20 begins on June 5th in England, where the first match is between England and Holland. But Flintoff will now aim to regain his fitness ahead of the Ashes opener at Cardiff on July 8, Flintoff will only have games for county side Lancashire in which to earn a place. Flintoff already ruled him out of England’s recent Test and One-day series wins over West Indies.
Adil Rashih 21 year, legspinner from Yorkshire got his first appearence in England squad during the winter tours of India and West Indies as a support for Graeme Swann, but it will be very difficlut for him to get a place in the playing during the world cup matches as Graeme Swann is in a good form.
