Indian Cricket Squad in the ICC Twenty20 World Championship will be lead by Mahendra Singh Dhoni which is going to start from June 5 2009. Mahendra Singh Dhoni who lead Indian team to won 1st ever T20 champions in 2007 is going to lead the team again in 2009, we have to see whether the History repeats or not.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik,has been dropped from the squad and also Hard-hitting batsman Robin Uthappa has also been omitted which has no major surprises. Virender Sehwag has been named the vice captain for the series.

The second season of ICC Twenty20 World Cup will start in June 5-21 in England and have 12 teams, with for groups and India are in Group A with Bangladesh and Ireland.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan.
