McCullum reported for dissent against umpire’s decision

Brendon McCullum, Kolkata Knight Riders captain has been charged with dissent, he has been reported for showing dissent in Saturday’s six-wicket loss to Deccan Chargers in Johannesburg. Brendon McCullum charged for breaching the IPL’s Code of Conduct. He will face the hearing on Sunday 17th may.

The incident occurred when a no-ball was called by umpire S.Ravi when Knight Riders bowler Mashrafe Mortaza was bowling a final over of the match as there were only three fielders in the 30-yard circle. After a lengthy discussion between McCullum and the Umpires, the decision stood.

McCullum appologised for his behavior at the post-match presentation ceremony. “I want to apologies for the reaction out there, it was purely out of emotion. It’s not easy being in a team that has lost of a lot of tight games,” he said.
