South Africa wins the match against England by seven wickets in ICC T20 cricket at Trent Bridge. England were completely outplayed by South Africa in their first match of the World Twenty20 Super Eights. Super bowling and fielding from South Africa made hosts to all out for 111 with one ball to go after losing their last seven wickets for 33. Only Owais Shah made a significant contribution for England as he made 38 off 33 with two sixes.

This was very disappointing performance from England as there were boos from the packed house at Trent Bridge. When a scorecard reads as poorly as England‘s it’s easy to criticize the batting. This was the lowest score for England which has played 18 T20 international and it renewed fears that Paul Collingwood’s side lack the skills required to threaten the best teams in the shortest format of the game. England now must beat India and West Indies to qualify for the semi-finals.

South Africa’s outstanding performance in bowling and fielding made them to win the match against England. The victory was led by Jacques Kallis (57 not out) along with Gibbs(30). Wayne Parnell, the exciting new weapon in South Africa’s pace arsenal, wound up with 3-14, bowling Broad and James Anderson with consecutive balls.
