First 1 Lakh Nano buyers are selected by Tata Motars | Nano Car

First 1 Lakh Nano buyers are selected by Tata Motars. The World’s cheapest Car, Nano developed by Tata Motars has announced that they have selected the 1 lakh applicants from more than 2 lakh applicants in which the company will start delivering from next month.

The selection of applicants has been done randomly through computerized process but these one lakh lucky persons list is still not known. The company has also completed the selection process for the second phase by alloting slots to 55,021 customers. “Tata Motors reconfirms that the first 1 lakh owners are price-protected, and will get their Tata Nano at the ex- showroom prices, announced at launch on March 23,” it said.

The Tata Motars Nano car booking process was started on April 9th and completed on April 25th and the bookings were made across the country through Tata Motors dealerships and State Bank of India (SBI) branches. Those who do not get the delivery by two years are entitled to an interest rate of 8.5 per cent on the booking amount.
