ICC Twenty20 World Team – No Place for Indian Players

ICC has announced Twenty20 World Team on Monday but Indian Cricketers and Australian Cricketers have failed to get a place in the World Twenty20. Former World T20 Champions India and Cricket World Champions Australia have failed to find a place in the World T20 X1 Squad. But the good thing for India is, a Women Cricketer Rumeli Dhar from the Indian team was able to find a place in ICC World Women’s T20 team.

Pakistan Skipper Younus Khan, who was successful to get a T20 Cup for Pakistan has been named as a Twenty20 World X1 Skipper and also boom boom Afridi and Kamran Akmal from Pakistan has been named in the T20 WorldX1. Tillakratne Dilshan the most successful batsman in T20 2009 worldcup named as an opener along with the West Indies Chris Gayle while South Africa Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers included for the middle-order.
