Brazil wins the match against USA in FIFA Confederations Cup with 3-0 goals. Brazil virtually booked their place in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup with a comprehensive victory over 10-man USA. For the second game running, the Americans had a player sent off, Sacha KlJestan was sent off for fouling Ramirez.

Brazil scored their first goal at 7th minute when Felipe Melo rose highest to head home a Maicon right-wing free-kick. Second goal came from Robhino at 20th minute and Maicon chipped in a third goal for Brazil. It was an ominous start for the US, who never quite came to grips with their South American opponents, despite some positive work from Landon Donovan. The USA, who managed to rattle the crossbar late in the game, will need to wait on the result of the other Group B match Egypt vs Italy.
