Serena Williams defeated Venus Williams 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 in Wimbledon 2009 Final. Serena Williams crowned third Wimbledon title after defeating her sister Venus Williams with a straight-sets victory and end five-time champion Venus’s hopes of a third straight win.

Serena Williams, 27 year old,  has won the title in 2002 and  2003. Serena has now won 11 Grand Slam titles and holds the Wimbledon, Australian and US Open crowns. It was the fourth time the sisters had met in a Wimbledon final. The sisters went into the match with a 10-10 record, but with five titles to Serena’s two and having powered through the draw without dropping a set.
