Rubens Barrichello from Brawn-Mercedes wins the European Grand Prix Formula 1 on Sunday August 23. Lewis Hamilton from McLaren’s who had a better chance of winning the European Grand Prix finished Second in the race. Hamilton who started from the pole position was unable to make any impression on Barrichello’s lead before the end. Kimi Raikkonen from Ferrari finished third.
Jenson Button, the Driver Championship leader finished seventh but extended his championship lead over Red Bull’s Mark Webber, who wafinished ninth in the European Grand Prix. That increases Button’s advantage to 20.5 points with a maximum of 60 remaining in the final six races of the season.
