F1 Force India’s Giancarlo Fisichella joins Ferrari for 2009 | Formula 1

Force India’s Giancarlo Fisichella joins Ferrari for rest of the Formula 1, 2009 season. Fisichella who has won the 2nd place in the Belgian Grand Prix joins to Ferrari after being released from Force India contract. Felipe Massa who got injured was replaced by Luca Badoer but he finished last in the Belgian Grand Prix, so now The Italian, 36, is set to replace Luca Badoer for Ferrari.

Force India has not yet named any replacement for Giancarlo Fisichella who is joining to Ferrari for the final five races in 2009 Formula 1 season, but test driver Vitantonio Liuzzi would be the favourite. Mallya had insisted on Tuesday that he would turn out his regular team for the Italian GP at Monza on 13 September.
