ICC Cricket Awards 2009, International Cricket Council cricketer 2009 Nominations

The sixth ICC awards for 2009 has been shortlisted the nominations based on the performances between August 13, 2008 and August 24, 2009. Indian Cricket Captain, MS Dhoni leads the nomination list in three categories and also Sri Lankan Batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan is also been nominated in three categories. Dilshan has scored 848 runs in 8 tests with an average of 70.66.

England Skipper, the Ashes 2009 hero Andrew Strauss has been nominated  for the International Cricket Council cricketer of the year award. England bowlers Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann have been shortlisted for the Test player of the year award.
