Sri Lanka takes on New Zealand in 2nd T20 match on Friday September 4, 2009 at Colombo(RPS). New Zealand have won the 1st T20 match by 3 runs on Wednesday. But it was a third straight loss for Sri Lanka in T20 format of Cricket starting from ICC T20 World Cup final. It was poor batting performance from Sri Lanka which made them to loose the game  and bow they have to overcome from poor batting especially the lack of contributions from the middle and lower-middle order.

New Zealand also lack in Batting but the fielding exceptional, proving decisive in the outcome. They can win the series if New Zealand can keep their cool again and improve their batting in middle order. The key role played in 1st T20 was skipper Vettori himself, slowing his pace and teasing with his loop to take 2 for 11 in four overs in a Man-of-the-Match effort.
