Portsmouth takes on Stoke City in Carling Cup 4th round on Tuesday October 27 at Fratton Park. Portsmouth have defeated Stoke City for four times in last five meetings, but Stoke City have not won against Portsmouth since 15 years. They have met each other only once in the League Cup, where Portsmouth have defeated Stoke City by 2-0 goals at home in the third round in 1985/86.
