President Barack Obama wins the Nobel prize for Peace on Friday. He was humbled by Nobel Prize honour for peace. Obama said he felt humbled and unworthy of being counted in the company of the “transformative figures” of history who had won the prize.

US President Barack Obama, less than 10 months into his presidency has been honoured by Nobel prize. The president plans to talk about his award at 10:30 a.m. (1430 GMT) on Friday in the Rose Garden. Obama has been widely credited with improving America’s global image after the eight-year presidency of George W Bush, who alienated both friends and foes with go-it-alone policies like the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.
