India takes on Sri Lanka in 1st Test match at Ahmedabad from November 16-20. India have finished their Australian series recently and they have lost the ODI series against them, so India will be looking for series win against Sri Lanka. All senior players like Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Tendulkar are back in the squad and also they have included Zaheer Khan in the team after a long time.

Sri Lanka have not won the test series in India and this will be best chance for Kumar Sangakkara to win a series and make history in cricket. Sri Lanka have made six tours to India over the last 27 years, played 14 Tests, they have good batting line-up like Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawarden in the top order and also Thilan Samaraweera and Tillakaratne Dilshan have new challenges of translating their home form overseas.
