Pakistan wins the 1st ODI match against New Zealand by 139 runs at Abu Dhabi on Monday November 03. It was a brilliant performance from Pakistan in both batting and bowling to defeat New Zealand at Dubai. Pakistan were 75 for 4 at one stage but a superb batting performance from boom boom Afridi(70) and Akmal(67*) helped Pakistan to post a total of 287 runs in 50 overs. At the lower order Razzak scored quick 26 runs from 20 balls which includes 2 sixes.

New Zealand batting was very poor as they were able to score only 149 runs in their second innings, Redmond(52) and skipper Vettori(38) batted well in New Zealand innings of 149 runs. All bowlers were bowled well for Pakistan, four of their bowlers took 2 wickets each. And an all-rounder performance from Afridi(2/46) helped Pakistan to defeat New Zealand.
