Both the teams AC Milan and Palermo were unable to score any goals in the first half.

Palermo took the lead at 49th minute when Fabrizio Miccoli scored the first goal of the match and Mark Bresciano increased the lead to 2-0 at 62nd minute when he scored the 2nd goal. But AC Milan could not able to score any goals in the match even though they had a better chance in the game.
