Everton wins the Barclay’s Premier League match against Burnley with 2-1 goals on Monday December 28 at Goodison Park. It was first win for Everton at home since September who defeated 10-man Burnley with 2-0 goals. But it was a ninth successive Premier League match for Burnley without a win. Everton ended a run of seven Premier League matches without a victory by defeating Burnley on Monday.

James Vaughan scored the first goal of the match at 83rd minute for Everton and Steven Pienaar increased the goal lead to 2-0 by scoring another goal for Everton at 90th minute. and helped to secure three points for them. Burnley had defender Stephen Jordan sent off with half an hour left, and that decision swung the game Everton‘s way.
