Liverpool wins the Barclay’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton with 2-0 goals on Boxing Day Saturday December 26 at Anfield. It was a superb come back form the Liverpool who have lost the last match against Portsmouth by defeating Wolves who have defeated Burnley in the last Premier League match. Both the teams Liverpool and Wolverhampton could not able to score any goals in the first half as it was 0-0 in the first half.

Steven Gerrad scored the first goal of the match at 62nd minute for Liverpool and Yossi Benayoun increased the goal lead to 2-0 for Liverpool by scoring another goal at 70th minute and helped Liverpool to defeat Wolves with 2-0 goals. But for Wolves their player Stephen Ward had been controversially sent off for two yellow cards at 53rd minute.
