West Ham United wins the Barclay’s Premier League match against Portsmouth with 2-0 goals on Saturday December 26 at Upton Park. Alessandro Diamanti scored the first goal of the match at 23rd minute which was a penalty shoot-out after Hayden Mullins fouled substitute Luis Jimenez. Radoslav Kovac increased the goal lead to 2-0 for West Ham United against Portsmouth at 89th minute and securing three points for them.

Pompey had never lost at West Ham’s ground in the Premier League but they never looked like continuing that run with this feeble effort. It was West Ham’s seventh penalty this season and Diamanti had no problem in tucking the ball past keeper Asmir Begovic who again was deputising for David James.
