Hindi Movie Biggest Flops of the Year 2009, Top 5 Flop Bollywood movies of 2009
1: Blue:
This was one of the big budget hindi movie starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Datta and Blue movie was directed by Anthony D’Souza. Music for the movie Blue was given by AR Rahman and most of the audience didn’t like this movie and also it has been shown in the TV Channels.

2: Kurbaan:
Kurbaan, noticeably, is set on the same plot of New York – the pun involves both the city and the cinema. KURBAAN tries to penetrate into the psyche of not just the terrorist, but also someone who has been a helpless spectator all this while. The film had the best of names, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Rensil D’Silva.

3: What’s Your Rashee?
Ashustosh Gowariker who has done the movies like Laggan and Jodha Akbar is the director of this movie but he could not sustain the magic done in his first two movies. Too many songs, girl from each Rashee has a song, 3 and a half hours of runtime. Too long for a light hearted entertainer.

4: Jail:
Jail inmates talk to each other in voiceovers as the opening credits start rolling. Taking us to right where the action is, we see the interiors of a jail with accused Parag Dixit (Neil) pushed, shoved to a corner and brutally interrogated. ‘Jail’, promoted mainly as critically-acclaimed director Madhur Bhandarkar’s film, was strangely rejected by the audiences.

5: De Dana Dan:
De Dana Dan also almost marks a decade of the widespread acceptability that the slapstick genre has gained in scarcity of sane comedies. Akshay Kumar’s ‘De Dana Dan’ had opened to a good response at the box office, but failed to retain the charm for long.
