India takes on Sri Lanka in 3rd ODI cricket match on Monday December 21, 2009 at Cuttack. Both India and Sri Lanka are looking forward for a win as both teams have won one match each. So five match ODI series has been leveled with 1-1 and 3rd ODI will be very important for both India and Sri Lanka to take the lead in the series. But India got a big blow before 3rd ODI at Cuttack as Dhoni has been banned for 2 ODI matches.

Virender Sehwag will be leading the Indian team for 3rd ODI in the absence of Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik
will be replacing Dhoni as a wicket keeper. Ishant Sharma has been recalled in the Indian team as Sreesanth is still suffering from injury. Sri Lanka has also got a big blow before 3rd ODI as Angelo Mathews, who clinched victory in Nagpur, is the latest to join the incapacitated list, with Thissara Perera flying in to take his place.
