Australia 127 and 8 for 286 (Watson 97, Hussey 73*, Siddle 10*, Kaneria 4-117, Gul 3-62) lead Pakistan 333 (Bollinger 4-72) by 80 runs

Pakistan have finished their first innings on Day 3 of 2nd Test against Australia by scoring 333 runs and taking the lead of 206 runs. Pakistan were able to add only 2 runs for their yesterday’s total. Bollinger took the last wicket for Australia, where Kaneria got out for 4 runs. Australia who have started their 2nd innings on Day 3, scored 286 runs with the loss of eight wickets.

Australia have got a lead of 80 runs with two wickets remaining, It seems that Pakistana are heading towards a 2nd Test win against Australia at Sydney with still 2 more days to go. The only hopes Australia can have on their star batsman Hussey who is playing at 73. Shane Watson batted well for Australia by scoring 97 runs and once again missing the century. Kaneria took the four wickets for Pakistan and he was supported by Umar Gul who took 3 wickets.
