Australia wins the 3rd Test against Pakistan on Day 5 by 231 runs on Monday January 18, 2010 at Hobart. Australia got their 12th consecutive victory over Pakistan after defeating them in the 3rd Test also. Australia won the series with 3-0 and also the have equaled the record of most consecutive victory by a country over other nations. Hauritz bowled well for Australia and finished with 3-3o to help seal the victory from Pakistan.

Pakistan was chasing the target of 438 runs set by Australia, and Malik was the first person to got out on Day 5 for just 19 runs after adding only one to his overnight score. Manzoor bating was impressive as he scored 77 runs from 239 deliveries nut that was not enough to save the game from defeat.
