Chelsea wins the FA Cup fourth round match against Preston North End by 2-0 goals on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Deepdale. Chelsea moved into 5th round by defeating Preston by 2-0 goals on Saturday. Chelsea have scored the goals in both half-time while Preston could not able to score any goals in the match.

Chelsea took the lead at 37th minute when Anelka scored the first goal of the match when he cut in from the left and fired through the legs of Sean St Ledger. Chelsea increased the goal lead to 2-0 by scoring another goal at 47th minute from Daniel Sturridge. Darren Carter missed a great chance to equalise when he scooped the ball over the bar from only two yards out.
