Result Day – 2:
Bangladesh 59 for 3 (Zaheer 2-32, Ishant 1-14) trail India 243 (Tendulkar 105*, Sehwag 52, Shakib 5-62, Shahadat 5-71) by 184 runs

India finished their 1st innings on Day 2 of 1st Test by scoring 243 runs against Bangladesh. India put a decent total in the 1st innings with help of superb batting from Sachin Tendulkar who scored unbeaten 105 runs. Tendulkar scored his 44th century in Test Cricket who resumed on 76 in Day 2 of 1st Test against Bangladesh. Shahadat Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan took five wickets each for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh have started their 1st innings on Day 2 and they finished thee 2nd day by scoring 59 runs for the loss of three wickets. And they are still 184 runs behind the total made by India in the 1st innings, Zaheer Khan took the two wickets of Bangladesh.  Bangladesh’s collapse, like India’s, started in the 15th over. India lost three wickets for six runs, Bangladesh lost three for five.
