Bangladesh 233 and 228 for 3 (Tamim 151, Junaid 55) trail India 544 for 8 dec ( Tendulkar 143, Dravid 111, Dhoni 89, Gambhir 68, Sehwag 56) by 83 runs

India have finished their 1st innings on Day 3 by scoring 544 runs in the 2nd Test against Bangladesh at Dhaka. India took the lead of 311 runs in the 1st innings of the 2nd Test. Dhoni batted well on the 3rd Day by scoring 89 runs to help India to score 544 runs. Shafiul Islam bowled well for Bangladesh by taking three wickets and he was supported by Shakib Al Hasan who took two important wickets.

Bangladesh have stared their 2nd innings on Day 3 with 311 runs behind the score made by India in the first innings and they finished the Day 3 by scoring 228 runs for the loss of three wickets. All the three wickets of Bangladesh in the 2nd innings of Day 3 was taken by Zaheer Khan. Bangladesh opening batsman Tamim Iqbal struck a brilliant century to hold up India’s push for victory on day three of the second Test at Mirpur.
