Australia wins the Under 19 ICC World Cup 2010 by defeating Pakistan on Saturday January 30, 2010 at Lincoln. Australia defeated Pakistan by 25 runs to lift the Under 19 World Cup. Pakistan which had better chance of winning the World Cup after defeating India in quarter finals lost the finals by just 25 runs. Australia followed their senior team success against Pakistan in the World Cup 2010 also.

Pakistan which had won the toss elected to field first and they restricted Australia for 207 runs in the Finals of Under 19 World Cup. Richardson batted well by scoring 44 runs and he was supported by Armstrong by scoring 37 runs. Sarmad Bhatti bowled well for Pakistan by taking three wickets.

In reply Pakistan was able to score 182 runs by loosing all the wickets in 47 overs. Pakistan skipper Azeem Ghumman batted well for Pakistan by scoring 41 runs and Ahmed Shehzad scored 36 runs in the total of 182 runs. Hazlewood bowled well for Aussie by taking four wickets and he was supported by Doran by taking three wickets.
