Sri Lanka 261 for 3 (Dilshan 104, Sangakkara 74) beat Bangladesh 260 for 7 (Ashraful 75, Mahmudullah 45) by seven wickets

Sri Lanka wins the 1st ODI match of Tri-Seires against Bangladesh by seven wickets on Monday January 04 at Dhaka. Sri Lanka came back well in the tri-series after loosing the ODI series against India recently. It was a big win for Sri Lanka eventhough Bangladesh have posted a good score on the board. A brilliant batting from Dilshan(104) helped Sri Lanka to defeat Bangladesh in the first ODI of Tri-Series.

Sri Lanka which had won the toss elected to bat first in the first ODI against Bangladesh. With the help of brilliant batting from Ashraful(75), Bangladesh set a target of 260 runs for Sri Lanka. Randiv bowled well for Sri Lanka by taking two wickets and also Lakmal took the two wickets. Dilshan who have scored 10 centuries in 2009 in all forms as started 2010 with one more century and helped Sri Lanka to defeat Bangladesh.
