Victoria wins the Preliminary final KFC T20 match against Queensland by six wickets on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at Brisbane. Victoria booked their place in Champion League Twenty20 2010 after defeating Queensland in the Preliminary Final for KFC Big Bash T20 match. Victoria will face South Australia in the Finals of KFC Twenty20 match on Saturday, January 23, 2010.

Queensland which had won the toss elected to bat first and they set a target of 149 runs for Victoria. Dunk batted well for Queensland by scoring 70 runs from 40 balls and Hopes contributed 44 runs in 149 runs total. Nannes bowled well for Victoria by taking 2 wickets. In reply Victoria reached the target at 19th over by loosing just four wickets. Hussey batted well by scoring 60 runs in 39 balls to help Victoria to defeat Queensland.
