Australia 7 for 324 (Ponting 106, White 63) beat West Indies 8 for 274 (Deonarine 53, Pollard 62, Smith 58*) by 50 runs

Australia wins the 4th ODI match against West Indies by 50 runs at Brisbane on Sunday, Febraury 14, 2010. Australia wins the Series against West Indies by 3-0 with still one match to be played. West Indies which had won the toss elected to field first and they restricted Australia for 324 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Brilliant batting from skipper Ponting who scored 106 runs helped Aussie to defeat West Indies and he was supported by CL White who scored 63 runs.

In Reply West Indies was able to score 274 runs in 50 overs by loosing 8 wickets, it was just short of 54 runs to defeat Australia in the 4th ODI match. Pollard became the star for West Indies by scoring 62 runs in just 55 balls and he was supported Smith who scored 59 runs to help West Indies to reach 274 runs. Ponting’s side has out-played both touring teams this summer to defeat both Pakistan and West Indies.
