Bangladesh have finished their 1st innings on Day 3 of 1st Test against New Zealand by scoring 408 runs on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Hamilton. New Zealand have ended the Day 3 by scoring 9 runs for the loss of one wicket in the 2nd innings. New Zealand leads by 154 runs in the test against Bangladesh at the end of Day 3. Bangladesh which had resumed the day 3 on 87 for one, scored 408 runs in the 1st innings.

Brilliant batting from Mahmudullah who scored 115 runs helped Bangladesh to score a big total in the 1st innings of 1st Test. And he was supported by Bangladesh Skipper Shakib Al Hasan who scored 87 runs in the 1st innings. But Shakib was controversially dismissed despite the ball appearing not to carry to wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum.New Zealand lost BJ Watling for one as they closed on 9-1.
