South Africa 296 and 115 for 3 (Amla 49*, Mishra 2-15) trail India 643 for 6 dec by 232 runs

South Africa have finished the Day 4 of 2nd Test by scoring 115 runs against India with the loss of three. South Africa are still behind 232 runs in the 2nd innings as the bad light stopped the day 4 of 2nd Test at Kolkata. South Africa which had resumed the Day 4 of 2nd Test against India on 6-0 have scored 115 runs in 34 overs. A superb batting from Amla who scored unbeaten 49 runs made India to wait till Day 5 for 2nd Test victory.

India which is looking for a win in the 2nd Test victory to retain their top spot in the ICC test rankings needs to bowl well on Day 5. And India needs to hope for better weather conditions on day five if they are to level the two-match series after rain ensured less than an hour‘s play was possible before lunch before bad light ended play two hours early.
