Kolkata Knight Riders wins the IPL 3 match against Delhi Daredevils by 14 runs on Wednesday, April 07, 2010 at Kolkata. And Kolkata Knight Riders got two important points in the IPL table and they have good chances of getting a place in the Semi-Finals. A brilliant batting from Kolkata helped them to defeat Delhi Daredevils on Wednesday and the Skipper Ganguly turnaround the match from his brilliant effort made in both bat and also in the field.

Kolkata which had won the toss elected to bat first and they set a target of 181 runs for Delhi Daredevils. Ganguly batted well by scoring 56 runs and he was supported by Mathews who scored 46 runs. In reply Delhi Daredevils was able to score 167 runs in 20 overs by loosing 8 wickets. Sehwag(64) and Gambhir(47) batted well for Delhi team. And Mendis was the pick of the bowler for Kolkata who took 2 wickets.
