Rajasthan Royals wins the IPL 3 match against Kings X1 Punjab by 9 wickets on Wednesday, April 07, 2010 at Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals have moved to third position the IPL 3 table after defeating Kings X1 Punjab on Wednesday. It was superb batting from Rajasthan which made them to defeat Punjab team and it was a 8th defeat for Punjab in IPL 3.

Kings X1 Punjab which had won the toss elected to bat first and they set a target of 153 runs for Rajasthan Royals. Jayawardene batted well for Punjab by scoring 44 runs and Trevedi was the pick of the bowler for Rajasthan who took two wickets. In reply Rajasthan Royals have reached the target in 15 overs by loosing only one wicket. Opener Michael Lumb pummelled 83 off 43 balls to deliver Rajasthan their third straight victory.
