MTV Movie Awards 2010 winners has been announced on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Los Angels and no surprisingly The Twilight Saga: New Moon, won the Best Movie. And also its stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also won awards for Best Male and Best Female Performance. The 2010 MTV Movie Awards Voting the nominees began on March 29, 2010, and ended on April 9, 2010. The nominees itself were announced on May 12, 2010, and the winners are being voted by the public.

While the awards gave no real surprises, highlights of the MTV Movie Awards included Tom Cruise’s comedic turn as “Tropic Thunder” producer Les Grossman, who took to the stage in a song and dance number with J. Lo herself. Pattinson, 24, also took the global superstar prize while he and real-life girlfriend Stewart, 20, won best kiss.

The Biggest cermony in the country, the ball dropping ceremony at Time Square was held to usher in the new year 2010. At the event, a 12,000 pound ball is dropped from the pole at the top of the Times Square building. The ball takes approximately a minute to reach the bottom of the pole. This year, the ball dropping event to welcome 2010 was attended by at least a million people from far and wide, including celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Daughtry, who were invited to perform.

Jay-Z’s latest Video from the Blueprint 3 was premiered on NBC’s ‘New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly’.  The Video Clip of “On To The Next One” was the fifth from The Blueprint 3, following “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” “Run This Town,” “Empire State of Mind” and the aforementioned “Young Forever.”  Jay-Z is considered to be one of the most successful hip hop artists who is known for his illustrious musical work over the years.

On the NBC’s New Year’s Eve Jay-Z teamed up with the musical diva Rihanna and delivered a performance that kept viewers asking for more. The duo gave a scintillating performance while they performed the Grammy award-winning single “Umbrella” as well as another popular track “Run This Town”, that kept the viewers glued to the television screens.
