Stumps India 233 (Sehwag 109, Badrinath 56, Steyn 7-51) and (f/o) 62 for 2 trail South Africa 558 for 6 dec by 259 runs

India have finished their first innings on Day 3 by scoring 233 runs in the 1st Test against South Africa at Nagpur. South Africa having lead of 325 runs in the 1st innings enforced the follow-on to India on Day 3 of 1st Test, India have ended the Day 3 by scoring 66 runs with loss of 2 wickets in the 2nd innings. Day 3 of 1st Test was totally belongs to South African fast bowler Dale Steyn as finished the day by taking seven wickets in 1st innings and 1 wickets in 2nd innings.

India which had started the day 3 on 25-0 was able to score 233 runs in the 1st innings. Virender Sehwag hit an exciting 109 but was dismissed twice in the the day. And he was supported by Badrinath who scored 56 runs in the 1st innings. With three batsmen out injured in Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Yuvraj Singh, a searching examination was expected.
